Material Assignment

How to assign materials to your model.

Via FEM Panel

  • Open the FEM Mesh Panel after generating a mesh
  • Select a material from the dropdown, filtered by category
  • The material is applied to all elements in the mesh
  • Material properties are displayed for review

Via Spreadsheet

Materials can also be assigned through spreadsheet parameters using the format:

{materialId}_{groupName}
Example: steel_s235_Body1

This assigns Steel S235 to the mesh group named "Body1".
