Material Assignment
How to assign materials to your model.
Via FEM Panel
- Open the FEM Mesh Panel after generating a mesh
- Select a material from the dropdown, filtered by category
- The material is applied to all elements in the mesh
- Material properties are displayed for review
Via Spreadsheet
Materials can also be assigned through spreadsheet parameters using the format:
{materialId}_{groupName}
Example: steel_s235_Body1
This assigns Steel S235 to the mesh group named "Body1".
