Lathe

Revolve a profile around an axis to create rotationally symmetric geometry.

Clay

Freeform sculpt-like volume for fast organic concept shapes.

Structural Elements

Architectural, sheet-based, and surface-oriented elements for larger assemblies.

Wall

Architectural wall element with support for openings and room layouts.

Column

Vertical support element for posts, piers, and simple structural frames.

Slab

Horizontal floor or deck slab for structural plates and building levels.

Foundation

Ground-bearing foundation block for pads, footings, and base plates.

Roof

Simple gabled roof volume for quick building massing and structural studies.

Railing

Guard and handrail element with posts and rails for edges and platforms.

Stair

Straight stair core element for circulation studies, levels, and access zones.

Plate

Flat solid plate for panels, brackets, and simple sheet parts.

Sheet Metal

Folded sheet-style element for bent parts and fabrication-oriented geometry.

Surface

Thin surface geometry for skins, patches, and lightweight model regions.

NURBS Surface

Smooth parametric surface for curved industrial and design-oriented forms.

🗝

Passfedernut

Keyway-style structural cut or profile feature for shaft and hub designs.

Profiles

Structural and machine-building profile elements.

I-Profile

Steel beam profile for structural frames and support members.

U-Profile

Channel section used for rails, brackets, and frame edges.

T-Profile

T-shaped section suited for supports, ribs, and edge reinforcements.

L-Profile

Angle profile for corners, brackets, and stiffening geometry.

Aluminum Profile

Modular T-slot profile for machine frames and configurable structures.

Square Tube

Hollow square profile for welded frames, furniture, and supports.

Round Tube

Hollow circular profile for frames, piping, and tubular components.

Lines & Connectors

Linear elements for guides, routing, springs, arrows, and measurements.

Line

Simple line primitive for guides, references, and lightweight geometry.

Tube

Hollow routed element following a path or line-based direction.

Wire

Thin routed conductor-style geometry for technical layouts.

Cable

Flexible cable-like routed element for harnesses and product scenes.

Spring

Helical spring geometry for mechanical assemblies and demonstrations.

🔌

Connector

Joining element for linking parts, paths, or attachment points.

Arrow

Directional arrow for flow, orientation, and instructional annotations.

Dimension Line

Measurement annotation between points for technical communication.

Scene & Media

Lighting, helper views, labels, and imported media for richer scenes.

Spotlight

Focused light source for highlighting specific areas or products.

💡

LED Strip

Linear light element for accent lighting and illuminated assemblies.

📹

Camera View

Camera helper or framed viewpoint element for saved perspectives.

Grid

Scene reference grid for orientation, alignment, and layout planning.

Text Flat

Flat text element for readable labeling directly inside the 3D scene.

🏷

3D Label

Spatial label element for callouts and anchored scene annotations.

📷

Image

Place bitmap imagery into the scene for references, decals, or signage.

📦

3D File

Import external 3D assets such as GLTF or GLB models into the scene.

2D Overlays & UI

Screen-space elements for dashboards, annotations, and custom interfaces.

Aluminum Profile Connectors

End Cap

Protective finishing cap for open profile ends.

Leveling Foot

Adjustable base support for standing frames and machine tables.

Linear Connector

Straight connector for extending profiles inline.

Special Elements

Additional helpers and advanced modeling features.

Imported Models

Bring external geometry into confBuild when built-in elements are not enough.

Supported Formats

Format Extension Notes
GLTF/GLB .gltf, .glb Recommended for most 3D imports
OBJ .obj Simple mesh exchange
STL .stl Popular for 3D printing workflows
FBX .fbx Useful for animation-heavy pipelines

Import Tips

  • Prefer GLB for compact files with embedded materials.
  • Keep source models centered and scaled consistently before export.
  • Reduce polygon count for smoother editor performance.
  • Use built-in elements first when you want spreadsheet-driven parametrics.
