Robotic welding cell with turntable: from enquiry to budget quote

This example uses the existing confBuild robotic welding cell with turntable. The enquiry and cost assumptions are fictional; all amounts exclude VAT.

1. The customer enquiry

We want to weld steel assemblies with a robot and load one station while welding at the other. Please show us a concept with a 180° turntable and two 1.2-metre fixtures, each with four clamps. Allow 5.5 × 5 metres inside the safety fence and a 2.4-metre table diameter. What budget should we plan for?

The operator station, control cabinets and utilities require additional space outside the safety fence.

2. Explore the concept online

The 3D concept shows the welding robot, two fixtures on the turntable, divider, safety fence, extraction and controls. The customer can rotate and zoom the model and start the prepared movements: operate the clamps, turn the table through 180° and follow a welding seam.

Change the table diameter, fixture length and clamp count to agree on the desired layout directly in the model.

3. The preliminary estimate

The example enquiry uses illustrative assembly packages and service allowances:

The package allowances are not supplier quotes. Transport, building works and customer-specific process qualification are excluded from this example.
