Install confBuild in your AI client
One package connects the hosted OAuth MCP and the complete parametric 3D modeling workflow.
Choose your client. Installation adds the confBuild MCP Agent skill and the hosted MCP connection at https://app.confbuild.com/mcp. On first use, sign in to confBuild and approve OAuth access. No API key, local server, Node.js, or repository checkout is required.
ChatGPT & Codex
- Add and install the plugin
Run both commands in your terminal.

codex plugin add confbuild@confbuild
- Reload the client
Restart ChatGPT or Codex if it is already open so the new plugin is loaded.
- Connect your account
Start a new task with
$confbuild-mcp-agentand approve the confBuild OAuth screen.
Claude Code

The public repository contains both host manifests, the skill instructions, and the exact MCP endpoint before you install.
Scoped OAuth access
Private project operations stay bound to the confBuild account that explicitly grants access.
Client-side AI
Codex or Claude performs the reasoning and visual review. The confBuild MCP does not call another model provider.
This self-hosted marketplace is available now. Reviews for the OpenAI universal directory and Anthropic community marketplace are separate and still pending.
