Machine Assembly
Independent Suspension
An engineering-grade double wishbone independent suspension assembly integrated with a structural subframe, steering rack brackets, and disc brake system.
About this configurator
An engineering-grade double wishbone independent suspension assembly integrated with a structural subframe, steering rack brackets, and disc brake system.
Adjustable engineering values and geometric dimensions include:
- Chassis Alignment: Track width, wheel center height, suspension travel, and active steering angle.
- Control Arms: Upper and lower arm lengths, tube diameter, and wall thickness.
- Suspension & Damping: Coilover nominal length, spring outer diameter, and spring wire diameter.
- Upright & Hub: Upright thickness, height, and wheel hub diameter.
- Brake Assembly: Brake disc diameter and thickness.
- Structural Hardware: Bushing outer diameter, bolt diameter, and mounting plate thickness.
Double-wishbone independent suspension module with 23 subpart sheets: chassis frame, dome mount, 4 clevis brackets with pivot bolt sets, six A-arm tube subparts, cast knuckle, steering arm, ball joints, hub, bearing, brake disc, red caliper, coilover damper + helix spring with eye bolt sets, tie rod with outer ball joint, live steering/travel kinematics and toggleable annotations.
Typical Uses
- Use it as a starting point for a configurable model variant.
- Share the browser model with a team, customer, or supplier for visual review.
- Prepare vehicle, battery, brake, or suspension variants for review and technical coordination.
- Copy it into your own confBuild project and extend parameters, rules, or outputs.
